Refund Policy

1. Overview
TRANSLUCID offers subscription-based plans billed monthly or annually through Paystack (African users) and Paddle (international users). We want you to be completely satisfied with your subscription. This policy explains when and how refunds are issued.
2. 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with your paid subscription, you may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of your initial purchase date. This applies to new subscriptions only (not renewals). To request a refund, email [email protected] with your account email and order reference.
3. Annual Plan Refunds
For annual subscriptions cancelled after the 7-day window, we will issue a pro-rated refund for the unused full months remaining in your billing period, minus any applicable processing fees charged by Paystack or Paddle. Partial months are not refunded.
4. Monthly Plan Cancellations
Monthly subscriptions cancelled after the 7-day window will not be refunded for the current billing period. Your access will continue until the end of the period you have already paid for, after which your account reverts to the Free plan.
5. Non-Refundable Items
- API usage charges incurred above plan limits
- Add-on purchases (additional voice clones, extra credits)
- Subscription renewals — cancel before your renewal date to avoid future charges
- Accounts terminated for violation of our Terms of Service
6. Free Plan
The Free plan has no charges and therefore no refund applies. You may upgrade or delete your account at any time.
7. How Refunds Are Processed
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer. Paystack refunds are processed in the original currency (ZAR, NGN, GHS, or KES). Paddle refunds are processed in USD.
8. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account pending investigation. We encourage you to contact us first — we resolve almost all billing issues within 24 hours.
